You just changed the trajectory of your puppy's entire life, and you did it before they've even lost their baby teeth.

Welcome to Mission Paws! I'm so glad you and your puppy are here.

Take a breath. You've just made one of the best decisions you'll ever make for your dog, and you made it early, before any habits have had a chance to set in. From here, everything we do is intentional and personalized, built around your puppy's developing brain and the dog you want them to grow into.

Here's what happens next:

Step one, and the most important thing you can do right now:

Log into your dashboard and book your first session (link down below).

Puppies grow up fast, and every week before our first session is a week your puppy is learning something, whether anyone's guiding it or not. The sooner that session is in the calendar, the sooner we start building your puppy's personalized plan. Everything else follows from there.

Watch this short video for a tour of your dashboard and how to get your first session in the books.

The puppy owners who see the biggest transformations tend to do these things:

They show up between sessions. The in-session work is the foundation, but the real magic happens in the small, daily moments in between. Two minutes here, three minutes there. Little pockets of intention each day add up faster than you'd think, and for a puppy brain, consistency between sessions is everything.

They track their wins. Progress is never linear, especially with a puppy. There will be some really exciting breakthroughs early on, and there will be blips along the way too. The clients who keep a journal or a little wins jar have something to come back to on the harder days. Those reflections help you see how far your puppy has come, even when it's feeling muddy. It's also why the check-in questionnaires before each session are so helpful, they help build a picture of what's shifting over time.

They stay open. Some of what gets recommended may feel unfamiliar at times. The clients who trust the reasoning behind it, even when it feels counterintuitive, are the ones who see the fastest results. I will never give you something willy-nilly. Everything has a purpose, and with puppies especially, the why behind each step matters.

They ask questions. If something isn't landing, if life shifts and the plan needs to flex, they say so. This isn't a "tough it out" space. The plan is always adjustable, because there are multiple living creatures and nervous systems involved. As much as I am meeting your puppy where they're at, my job is also to meet you where you're at too.

They use their support. Email and voice notes are there for a reason. The clients who reach out between sessions, not just during them, tend to move through the programme with a lot more ease and keep the momentum going, which at this stage of your puppy's life is worth everything.

A note from Samaya:

Think of this less as a program you're enrolled in and more as a collaboration. My job is to adjust to you and your puppy as much as you're adjusting to the work. I'll always give you the context behind every recommendation, and if you need more clarity or a different explanation, just ask. We're teammates in this, and your pup is lucky to have us all in their corner.

Now go get that first session booked, because I can't wait to get started!
