"Our puppy’s recall has dramatically improved! I even called her off a rabbit that was 20ft away.”
Imagine This:
You’re hiking a trail. No leash. No fear. Your dog trots ahead—but the moment you say the word, they turn and sprint back to you.
You didn’t yell. You didn’t bribe. And you didn’t have to repeat yourself.
This is what Rapid Recall was built for.
This Program Is For You If...
-
Your dog only comes when they feel like it
-
You’ve tried recall training but it doesn’t hold up around distractions
-
You’re afraid to ever unclip the leash in public or un-fenced spaces
-
You’ve been told your dog is “too stubborn” for off-leash walks
You’re not failing. You just haven’t trained recall the right way—until now.
What You’ll Learn Inside Rapid Recall:
✅ How to rebuild a clear, reliable recall cue your dog actually listens to
✅ Why your current reward system may be sabotaging your success (and how to fix it)
✅ A step-by-step progression from low-distraction environments to real-world distraction-filled scenarios
✅ Emotional connection cues that make your dog choose you over dogs, people, or wildlife
This isn’t obedience training. It’s off-leash communication—built on trust.

How Rapid Recall Gets You Off-Leash Freedom—Fast
Every lesson is short and action-based (under 10 minutes). You’ll watch, then train that same day—with results you can see on your very next walk.
Here’s what you’ll master step by step:
✔️ Settle your dog’s mind before you even start recall practice — so they’re focused and ready to respond, not wound up and tuned out
✔️ Teach recall that works without yelling or chasing — using simple games that make coming back the most rewarding choice
✔️ Walk off-leash confidently — your dog stays within reach without you constantly hovering, repeating yourself, or feeling stressed
✔️ Build a rock-solid response around real-world distractions — dogs, squirrels, people, food on the trail—so you trust your dog everywhere
✔️ Train your dog to come back the first time you call — so you can unclasp the leash without that anxious pit in your stomach
This isn’t about hoping they’ll listen.
It’s about knowing they will.
No more second-guessing. No more yelling.
Just calm, enjoyable off-leash walks because your dog comes when you call—every single time.

Why I Had to Create Rapid Recall
I didn’t learn recall in a classroom. I learned it in the real world—leading eight dogs off leash, hiking through the wild trails of the Westcoast of Canada. In other words? Cougars, bears, cliff-sides and no margin for error.
Each dog had different recall cues, different energy levels, different triggers. I couldn’t keep eyes on all of them every second — and I couldn’t rely on shouting commands every few minutes.
- I needed them to tune into me without me asking.
- I needed trust, not control. Connection, not constant cues.
And then there was my own dog — Mr. Vince.
He’s a joyful, social butterfly who lives to explore and say hi to every dog and person in sight.
And when it was time to go home? He’d play keep-away for 30 minutes, pouncing just out of reach, having the time of his life while I silently steamed.
I was doing what most people do:
→ Giving too much freedom too soon
→ Asking for recall in overwhelming, overstimulating environments
→ Failing to offer a deal better than mud, swimming, or squirrels
The truth? I wasn’t a good deal to my dog. And he was telling me that — with every pounce.
The breakthrough moment came when a new dog in my hiking group bolted down the mountain to the car. I chased her, calling and running — but didn’t say a word to the rest of the group. And you know what?
All 7 dogs stuck with me.
They chose to stay close — because our relationship, our connection, was strong.

That’s when it clicked:
Getting your dog to come when you call doesn’t start with a cue. It starts with a dog who’s calm, connected, and wants to be near you.
Since then, I’ve helped hundreds of dog owners rebuild trust, reshape behavior, and reimagine what’s possible on an off-leash walk.
Because I’ve also seen what happens when recall fails:
-
Dogs rehomed out of fear they’ll bolt near roads
-
Expensive board-and-train programs that return shut-down dogs
-
E-collar dependency, lost personalities, and learned helplessness
-
Dogs injured or killed chasing wildlife or spooking livestock
-
Parks losing off-leash access — one incident at a time
The cost of not having a recall is too high.
I created Rapid Recall to solve this — and to share the exact framework I’ve used with my own dog and countless others.
It’s not about perfection.
It’s about consistency. Trust. Adventure.
And the freedom your dog deserves.
